I think it depends on how much you cut but hopefully you will get some answers from someone who actually shows!

Of my 4 (14 week old) Silkies, I know one of them is definitely a male, as he crows like a broken kazoo. I'm pretty sure my other white one is a female, but not positive about the two blue Silkies. One is a Splash (I love the coloring) and the other is a dark blue (almost black.) Here are a bunch of pictures, it anyone would like to venture a guess on the two blue ones. I did not post pix of my broken kazoo. None of the others have started crowing yet.
