Trouble is finding one! I normally buy from Birds and Eggs, but she's not going to be having any for a little while.

Yeah, this isn't the best time of year to be searching, so I might just wait till Spring.

Are you able to do hatching eggs? I saw on here I think Mary Robbins is working on Porcelain and she was selling hatching eggs still

Nope, don't have an incubator. My silkies are purely pets, so once my silkie pen is full, I got to stop there. Which means only one or two more!
Not going to be easy to stop! LOL But I have a really sweet girl now, and she seems to get most of my attention, so don't want to over do it.

Thank you for everyone for all the info on washing our silkies...it is very daunting to do any of these (bathing, trimming ect) as a total newbie...

Though I might show you some pics of two of my young boys...here is my oldest boy (blue-no name yet!) and oldest silkie I have! He is 4 months old...
Baby pics to now...

Here is my other boy who is only 3 months old...he is a silver white??? (started off grey and turned out bright white)
From baby to now...you can see he still has huge foot feathering...

Sorry for all the pics but I love seeing everyone else's beautiful silkies..I hope you enjoyed my two boys...

Oh okay gotcha, well if you can't find them sometimes I suggest to people to hatch them and then keep what you need/want and share/sell the rest

But, either way I am sure you will see a nice one up sooner or later. Sometimes as they grow out and have not hit one year of age, breeders decide to sell them at like 9months to 1 year. So there is still hope!
