Thank you all for the comments. Sounds like my blue splash will be getting a nail trim tomorrow. A little worried, my first time trimming nails, I was nervous enough trimming around those eyes. Ok, so....

Has anyone heard of Frost colored silkies? They are gorgeous and I was curious about the genetics. They have a lavender body, their crests and wings are a pretty powder gray.

I have, just in pictures though. lol They are very pretty. Almost looks like a light version of columbian or something.

How does he eat then? I take it you use a very deep dish? Those sure are some pretty feathers.

The Tapatalk app is the key...it's the only tool I have found so far that works for viewing forums and uploading pics. I'm using an iPhone, but there may be a version for the Droid. I love it...makes reading BYC on the phone so much easier.

Don;t worry too much about it. I use people nail clippers and it worked really well. No blood. They all were very calm. It is easy compared to my dogs.

Dark Blue 3.5 month Silkie looking black to me. Underside is black, too. He doesn't have the green tint. Bought him in a blue group. Ok with me- expecting black ones from the blues anyway. Pam
