Silkie thread!

Are mixed colors less valuable or desirable by most because I'm give a littile girl a pair and she dosnt care about color just wants a pet silkie. I have the black with yellow and a solide black. Which is a better breeder for my white rooster

for pets it dosent realy matter but old silkies with good type and color can be shown
 
Well I'm gonna trade and sell most my chicks at the local swap meets and actions. So I was wondering witch has more value
You shouldn't really breed either of them to a white. You most likely won't end up with offspring that are "desirable" color wise. At least that's what I get from what i've heard.

Is it yellow like this? She is partridge (or blue partridge - not really clear on that).
 
pure colors or the popular project colors are what you want if you want to breed/sell and or show

pets it doesn't really matter if people just want sweet pets
