Maybe Steve and Curly are one of those "brother from another mother" cases.I've heard people call her a smutty buff. She has partridge colouring more than you see, but it is orange with blue shading. Hard to explainShe's Steve's daughter through and through!![]()
I had to go back and check your images. Yes he looks exactly like your rooster. They could be twins if it wasn't for the colour difference! I've thought that for the longest time![]()

I notice my silkies are more prone to sneeze when young from the dust in the brooder than the other chicks. Chickens sneeze, but I've never noticed them doing it more during molt or nervous situations. If I were to stir up the bedding they would sneeze a bit (as would I).Do silkies sneeze more when molting? Or nervious?
We haven't had any rain in a long time it is very dry.
Here is my little dark hen what do you think black or dark blue?

Thanks Peeps! I love Sassy's type I hope to get more like her, hopefully some babies from her.
Rusty came from Catdance eggs. Do you think Sassy and Rusty would be good to breed. I know they say Partridge with Partrige, but what about some Blue Partridge?
