Silkie thread!

I've heard people call her a smutty buff. She has partridge colouring more than you see, but it is orange with blue shading. Hard to explain

She's Steve's daughter through and through!
I had to go back and check your images. Yes he looks exactly like your rooster. They could be twins if it wasn't for the colour difference! I've thought that for the longest time

Maybe Steve and Curly are one of those "brother from another mother" cases.

Do silkies sneeze more when molting? Or nervious?
I notice my silkies are more prone to sneeze when young from the dust in the brooder than the other chicks. Chickens sneeze, but I've never noticed them doing it more during molt or nervous situations. If I were to stir up the bedding they would sneeze a bit (as would I).

We haven't had any rain in a long time it is very dry.
Here is my little dark hen what do you think black or dark blue?

Ok, that's what I thought. The lighter color underneath means blue.
It's only one hen and she doesn't act sick just sneezing sometimes very often then will stop for awhile. Molting right now.

I've heard it called a "creamsicle" so that is what I put down on the show entry form

I hope it's accepted

. I am looking forward to making this color my breeding project. I LOVE it! Here is mine that is just like yours. Her crest is a bit small right now, she just finished molting and the feathers are growing back.
