My daughter wants to add silkies to her flock. I’m not a chicken person at all, but I’m concerned that our barn cat might hurt them since they are much smaller than the rest of the flock. She’s a small cat, and has never show any aggression towards the chickens, but happily and regularly kills mice. What are your experiences and opinions?
Thank you!

I have 4 big/older cats and bantam chickens including silkies if your kitty has not shown any aggression towards your current flock it shouldn't show any aggression to the new ones even if they are silkies

Do you see the yellow by his belly that is our bantam chicken Chipmunk when she was a chick they still lay like this
