Silkies and Quails

So I have 3 silkie chicks and am getting 4 coturnix quail babies now my question is... Can I move my silkies out of their current brooder(a fish tank) and into their dresser coop that we made, clean to tank out and then put the quails in the fish tank brooder? I know you arent suppose to put them together but they arent going to get sick for being where my chicks were right?

Did you hatch the silkies? Have they been in contact with adult chickens? The biggest risk is Coryza which chickens can carry without showing symptoms. But if your silkies have been isolated from other chickens there's very little chance they are carrying anything and you should be fine.

I bought them as chicks but they were hatched in an incubator and then straight into the brooder.
