Silkies-bearded or not

Ok I have been reading lots on this site for awhile now and I still can't figure out the difference between a bearded chicken and a non-bearded.
Can someone please explain and maybe post pics.
Maybe I am looking in the wrong spot.!?!

bearded silkies have just what it says a beard. and non bearded dont. look at an ameraucana they also have beards.

Ok I just got my MM catalog today and I think I see the difference now.
I like the bearded silkies better than non.
