Silkies for sale in central Kentucky.

Oh I don't know it is too hard to decide from this far away. I better skip out on it at this time especially with winter coming on. Thanks anyway, they are cute!

I'd have some if I didn't live so far away. After seeing these little babes I want some.

Hey Katie. I have white, blue, patridge in chicks, and I have some roosters for sale.

Crazy Elk, how close to Lexington are you? Do you have any Firizzles, or just Silkies. I tell you, I just bought 6 white silkies from Ideal and now I know why they are consiered "evil" as they steal your heart. I have never had such sweet babies. If you are close, may consider some more.

Mastiffsinky and Tammy:

I have white, black and blue roos for sale. The chicks are about 3-4 weeks old.

I live about 30 minutes north of Lexington. We just have Silkies right now. Let me know if you are interested, I may be heading to Lexington in the next week or so.

what are you asking for the roos and what are you asking for the chicks? might be heading that way to trade some lavender silkies to someone in the next couple weeks and could meet with you then.

Hello all,I am needing some advice on how warm should I keep my 25, 7 week old silkie chicks.I live in Florida, but it has been getting down into the freezing zone alot for this time of year with are coldest months to come in Jan.and Feb.Right now they are on my screened porch in a big plastic water trough with a heat lamp. The trough has a lid that is wood on each end of the trough and the middle is screen. The trough is also filled with wood chip or shavings. This is the first time that I have raised chicks from their beginning and have fell in love with all of them and do not want to loose any of them due to my stupidity.Any advice that I can get will be very much appreciated,I am studying as much as I can about my babies, but I know the best advice comes from those of you that have had experience in this field Any and all advice will be very much appreciated from the heart.Thank all of you who take time out to read my plea for help.If there is any advice or questions I can help any of you with anything please feel free to ask,I'll try my best, not much experience yet but I have read alot about different things, but could not find anything on temps. Thanks all who respond. Please all of you have a safe and wonderfull Thanksgiving,Katmama:/

Hey Kat, nglad to hear from you. Ive been thinking bout you and your babies and wondered how they were. Glad all is well. I had a couple of questions for you about you brooder. What are the demensions and how spread out is the heat. I have found that if you concentrate the heat in one area that silkies tend to croud up and smother each other. I have had this problem with my older birds. Also in response to you PM you sent me. I currntly do not have any splash that I want to sell. I will have some in the spring. You should send me some pic sometime and let me see how your babies are growing.

Thanks, Jason
