My silkie eggs from nancy are waiting on me at the p.o.!!! The RIR eggs are out in my vehicle while I'm running a few errands before I go to grab the silkie eggs and then back home to wash up and allow them all to rest

keeping my fingers crossed the silkie eggs are all in one piece!

Oh so excited for you!!!! I am sure they will be in excellent shape! Let them rest a full day with fat end up in egg cartons! WooHoo!

All my eggs are here !!!! Both did a fantastic job with packaging!! Nancy went the extra mile with her packaging job lol i don't know if a small bomb would even have hurt these eggs hehe!
18 silkie eggs... 6white, 6black, 4buff and 2 partridge so very happy! I asked for whites and blacks most and nancy made sure to try and fulfill that. Thank you nancy!!
Also received 15 rir eggs!
Will be leaving feedback in a little while when I get home and have some time and I'm not 100% sure when I'm going to set just yet. They are resting right now with pointy end down in the brood/hatch room.

Yes! Our eggs were set at 8:20 pm on wednesday !!! Just 4 more days for our first candling! How did your candling go with the catdance eggs?!?
I've been so busy with homework and everything else! (In my second and final year working towards my associates degree.)

Yeah!!! Will watch for your first candling results! I did ok - I had 1 with a blood ring, and 5 clears, so out of 24 eggs, 18 are developing. A couple looked a little funky, but I am going to wait on those. Overall, very pleased! Good for you going to school! That is hard work! My Garry silkies are really filling out beautifully! I need to take and post another picture! They are just so fun!

That sounds great! Hopefully the funky ones will be ok! and yes take some more pictures of the garry silkies when you get time, I seen the last "teenager stage" pictures, they still are just beautiful!! How old are they now? I'm getting nervous it is getting so close to time for me to actually have chickens. I know I will have to keep them inside for probably up to 6-8weeks depending on what my weather does and I'm hoping it will all go ok!

These are my babies from Garry Farms that hatched on March 1st. They are adorable!! This was my second time incubating ever and these are my first silkies

3 white

2 partridge

1 buff - he would not hold still and kept trying to fly up on my arm

I only got 6 to hatch out of 18 but I blame that on me being such a newbie, numerous power outages, and my two curious nephews that i babysit that would not leave the incubator alone!
