Some pics of the 3 month olds.
Some nice looking patches of paint or is it splash?
.. why they all rush into a bowl of the same food that is in the feeder I don't know, it's like it's a treat 😂 then they tip it over ofcourse, I just do a mash with the fine crumble bits left in the feeders. Chickaletta and Biscuit were getting in on the action too.
Looks like 2 boys out if the 5, although another maybe a late bloomer with extra fluffy crest.

They're just adorable 😍

My grumpy miss elsa is back at it. Tiny Bambina (who looks just like yours!) was trying to lay in a corner and had her head protected while Elsa was pecking at her. *sigh*

I'm leaning towards splash though some lighter splash and paints with lots of small/splashy spots can look the same. If these were paints they would probably also have blue involved as the spots look blue not black. If I'm remembering right none of these babies had spots in their down at hatch? Paints usually hatch with spots, I've heard of some getting spots later on but most hatch with them. My paints here always hatch with spots, sometimes fairly small but always with at least one or two visible ones. If not a one of these babies hatched with any spots whatsoever I'd say they are probably splash. Either way they are beautiful babies. 🥰

Thanks!
Sounds like splash then. Any ideas what colour chicks would pop out with Biscuit paired with one of them?
Chicks pic of the now 3 month olds, no spots, so splash then.

I'm just a total sucker for lighter colored babies!!!
Not sure if it's cuz I can clearly see their little faces and eyes or what but I LUV em all!!!

On another note...I had been told that sesame seeds help supply baby chicks with selenium they need if they are struggling with feet/leg issues.
Then in trying to help another hatcher on here was told Do Not give them sesame seeds.
Though I never received a reply as to if they were bad for em or just didn't supply em with the nutrients needed or what.
Any thoughts?

I just found warnings that seseme seeds shouldn't be more than 10% of diet or they can cause too hard of stools in chickens.

If you give them to your birds, make sure they have grit available.
Interesting...definitely no worry of hard poops here!
I only give em as treats but won't give you babies anymore!
