Poor Milli...
Got back home from daughter's helping with babies from complications of flu mich later than I anticipated...panicked when I couldn't find Milli in near dark run...totally forgot out me shutting up the pre-fab coop!!!
Mango had already rooster on the hay bale and Vanilli was demanding the coop open...finally found Milli...in a flower pot brooding! Oh me

Ok.. these are the craziest bunch of chicks I've had yet.. flying all around and doing zoomies.. so here are my horrible update pics. Pretty much the silkies hide in the corner when everyone gets crazy.. im going to relocate the big girls soon (i hope), so that will give me an extra brooder to separate the silkies from the polish. The polish are just too big at this point in comparison.

The good news is, no observable pink on anyone. The polish w the biggest cap looks most similar to how Esmeraldas cap looked.. but the others.. i can't say they look like how the wcb boys looked. Its like only the black cap feathers are growing in (one was hiding w the silkies).
My Polish was same way! Crazy insane...but sweet to me - just really rough with the girls.

Interesting, someone else i know is having issues w their polish, both females and males, being too dominant and aggressive w their other chickens too.

Esmeralda (my wcb polish, not in the pic) is just the sweetest w me. I take her out regularly and carry her around. But she is actually terrified of the bantams!

I havent had the chance to handle these guys as much. Brooding them indoors really gave me the opportunity to be closer and just chit chat w them as I walk by throughout the day. The garage is cleaner.. but I am hoping they will still be friendly without as much interaction.

The colors on your Polish are gorgeous.😍 Can't wait to see what they look like all feathered in.😊

Yeah I did the same with Polish...but he was totally different with the silkies and since I had originally planned on only silkies and dude suggested I take another one in case all 3 didn't survive...I took Polish. He was a good first roo...to me lol.
Here's little more bout him. I started my own thread cuz I was afraid I might wear out my welcome over here with yall if I talked a lot lol...and it gives me a way of documenting this adventure!

Actually she is blue partridge. Blue feathers where black would normally be. Here is another photo of her.😊
