Awwww
To me it sounds like he is. How old is Joey? When my boys started crowing it was screechy, not honky. But neighbours do have a cockerel that crows honky, I do hear him every day like he was mine, tooYall my BYC is acting so flaky...so forgive me if this posted and I cant find it.
Since Mango, Milli and Vanilli have been rehomed, lil Joey is doing this really weird low honk noise. He does it almost constantly. He's acting normal otherwise. They are all satin silkies so I wasn't sure if this is a growing cockrel takin on his new role of the flock or what?
Alright everyone!!! I have 5 sweet little silkie babies! There's still more eggs in the incubator so I'm hoping more hatch but here are some pictures of my fluff babies!!!❤
I'll have to look back for his age.Awww that little egg is like a farewell gift from Milli! Fingers crossed that all your eggs will hatch

So is this a new color we are starting to see across different type chickens?
Wondering bout a satin silkie in that color!!!

No i wouldnt put it outside. I just dont know if tjey would survive in the very cold Wisconsin weather. You mean putting a heat lamp outdoors? I wouldnt recommend that. Fire hazard.
That is too precious!
