Hey everyone! Since my hatch, I've been holding out hope for what I thought might be a last possible chick. But, it's been several days since it was hatch day. I've included pictures of me candling it. Please let me know if I should toss it or keep waiting. Thanks!

How many days has it been? This one looks like it is not going to do anything more. It is likely DIS (dead in shell). It has not internally pipped as far as I can see in your photos. If you do not see any movement at all and it’s been at least 24 days then you can dispose it.
I seem to have at least one of these every hatch.
You can also open it up from the air cell end and check for any life signs if you are uncertain.

First couple pics are of the little one that had splay legs...doing so well! Thank all yall for your help with the hobble!
The other 2 paints and 1 blue!
All doing well and daughter is wanting them at her house...til one crows lol!
Pretty sure non-vaulted skull paint is a little boy!

Cute babies! .. how can you tell so young if your non vault paint is a boy? I guess you have 50% chance of getting it right!

I have always judged it based on their personality and I've been 100% so far out of 16... its not a huge number of chicks but so far, unfortunately, I've called em before they ever crow.
Even Grayson that several on byc said was not a roo...he is.
The kids all think I jinx the chicks from birth by doing that cuz if I would assume they are all girl I wouldn't have so many roos lolol.

First photo shoot on the chicks hatched 3/14 and 3/15.
Lots of blues this time! The super fluffy ones I think are Layla’s.
The one little paint I suspect is a “whoops“ egg from Hanabi, my red cochin bantam.
Does not have a beard, only has four toes on each foot and looks just like her in the face! If it grows out smooth wing feathers, then that’s the clincher!
