Been quiet here...everybody out working the gardens?! Hanging with the chicks?!
I Got 3 batches (what do yall call all your "groups" of chicks different ages)? Oldest are 4 months, then Hawaii babies going to new homes this weekend (unless I keep a couple sincedaughter thinks shes doin me a favor by taken couple and i just LUV em and wanna see em grow out!) and 16 in incubator from Alabama that arrived yesterday!

garden, chicks, goslings, ducklings, chickens... I have just picked up nettles from a small bed size of my garden, gave them to the babies, tilled and watered as soil was very dry. I have found a package of swiss chard seeds and plan to sow them tomorrow. lost 1 silkie hen, another one that was sick got better. I hope with sunshine they will perk up.

wow you've been busy! i'm so sorry bout your losing one! hopefully they will continue to improve and no more illness!
 
You bet! I just got back from vacation and it was super nice to check on them and I was able to assist the chicken sitter in real time through the microphone when they were having trouble corralling a chicken 😆

These are cool! 😊 I could use these now that I won't be home all day! I can point the cameras to the food and water and use to remind my family to check on them. They do not love the chickens as much as I do.🤣

Yes!! They have many uses and at the price point, I could afford a lot of cameras :D I might be adding a couple more hehe, my family is the same way :lau
