I just got my first silkie chicks about 3 weeks ago so far I’m loving watching them grow. I have 2 white ones that look like little cotton balls. My little black silkie is my most friendly in spite of her name, Kylo Hen. She is always the first in line for treats and attention. I also have 2 splash and a blue that I’m hoping is a girl but I’m really starting to wonder. I hope they grow up to be as amazing as the OP says hers are.

Yes there is a difference, but I am not for sure what it is. So, Im gonna change my answer lol, its either barred or cuckoo.
