Beautiful eyes, I love how they compliment her color!

You know what would be an awesome mixed breed chicken, a Silkie and English Orpington cross! Then you could have Orpington sized Silkies!

That's great idea. I was going to use Brahmas to make giant Silkies.

Not exactly orpington size, but he was twice the size of a normal sized rooster. He actually got to 4 lb 8 oz.

What about a bantam orpington? I might get some next year, and when I breed I will probably have some mixes

That might be tough to breed lol. Here's one of my English orpington roos with my silkies. He's standing on the ground behind them and they're up on the door frame lol

I just processed that roo the other day....7.94 lbs completely dressed out. He filled 2 gallon zip lock bags!

A silkie that big would look awesome though. Especially with a nice big Crest!

I'm being kind...the ones i'm not keeping myself I'm letting another breeder have for free since I know they're going to a good home.
