What colors are they?I have three pullets and one cockerel. Currently they are with a mixed flock.
White cockerel. Splash, white and blue partridge pullets. Found out with test breeding (my hybrid experiment) that my cockerel is recessive white and carries blue. What colors are they?
You do know if you bred blue partridge to blue partridge you could get a calico? How did you do test breeding?White cockerel. Splash, white and blue partridge pullets. Found out with test breeding (my hybrid experiment) that my cockerel is recessive white and carries blue.![]()
I bred him to some of my standards to see what colors he would produce and also just for fun. Because bred to black he produced both black and blue chicks, he then must carry or "hide" blue. Will see what he produces with the pullets I have. You do know if you bred blue partridge to blue partridge you could get a calico? How did you do test breeding?
