If you've lost it, we all have! Or me at leastI talk to my eggs when I candle. Standing in a dark closet with the candler and an egg, saying "hello little sweetie, how are you doing in there". No wonder my family thinks I have lost it!![]()

And then I saw your todays post with a picture from your little one with the eye issue -Still yucky... I went this weekend to TSC to get some Terramycin since it is still on backorder at the feed store. I've used it twice now. Eye is improving but still not normal. There's like a hard brown blob under the eye. Not sure what it is but it hurts the chick to rub on it. I thought it was dried eye goo but it isn't.
On a side note, I brought everyone outside this afternoon for a supervised introduction to the outdoors. They are having a ball....

My chicks are 2 1/2 weeks old now and I still haven't been able to cure the chick with the weepy eye. It does look a little better. It isn't weeping as much. Here's the latest pic of what it looks like... I'm not sure what else to do.

I just read your post from yesterday:
And then I saw your todays post with a picture from your little one with the eye issue -
from reading the first post I imagined it much worse and I must say I am positively surprised how much better it actually looks than my imagination emerging from the description (I must state I don't have experiences with eye-issues in chickens but in other animals). To me it looks like the new medicine works well - fingers crossed the issue will dissapear completely soon
Such a cutie
...And I loved seeing them all enjoying the sun and being outside for the first time![]()
