Silkies - They’re simply SPECTACULAR!

My silkies and D'uccles did the same... on the couch w no poops!! I think its because its cuddly like a nest... now the cochin on the other hand...

He is the only one comfortable being in the house, the 2 girls freak out if they are in for more then a couple minutes. Now that I've learned he likes to watch tv I'm going to sneak him in a few times a week for one on one time.

Omg you need to pull up chicken tv on youtube... i played it on my phone for my girls and it was like instant tv addict zombies!! They even ran backwards when one of the chickens ran up to the screen. Amazing!

I love how in the picture where they kuddle together the light and the dark color are pronounced because of sitting next to each other

If anyone is in England here, I have 2 silkie roos up for rehoming in Essex. They are very sweet boys, I don't have enough hens to keep these little guys. I'm going to call a few shelters so if you want them speak up

One of my boys (Kasimir) and many of the girls like to sit on our lap and take a nap, all like to spread out in the sun next to us and two girl did this on out lap - but none of my little ones ever stretched out on us to take a nap like your sweet little Branch does!
When I told my mom about sweet little Branch coming in for a tv-session on the sofa she wanted me to fetch our Mirabelle and try this with her
Mirabelle didn't want to sit on the sofa but on my mom's (stretched! ...she had to lay it on the pet caddy) leg. She watched a bit tv, talked A LOT and then came with us in the kitchen where we drank coffee and ate apple pie. Mirabelle sat on the chair back of a mini-chair my parents brought from Spain, then on my mom's lap. We will repeat this

Mirabelle laid her/the first egg today! We are so proud of her

She will be 5 month old in two days.
The egg weights 28 g.
