Update on the three Polkies I have left. I have more Silkies hatching but these are the last of the Polkies. All three of these are full siblings, I suspect they are all female. Interestingly enough they all appear to be beardless, only beardless bird I know of in their genetics is their Polish grandmother. The bearded Polkies sold first!
I’m really liking the one satin feathered I have left, she’s really pretty and I may keep her. Four weeks old today. The other two are three weeks old and two weeks old. So crazy they’re full siblings, they look so different.
The one we are calling Halo is keeping the white fluff on her head so far. She has also developed some interesting brown tips on her wing feathers almost like a Partridge pattern, but she has no Partridge in her background as far as I know.

She has silkied feathers as well as the other paint.
