What humidity at lockdown? I'm afraid of drowning them.I dry incubate. You need to have a good incubator. It depends very much on the ambient humidity in your area. Living in Hawaii, it is high here. When I incubate the humidity runs anywhere from 25-45% in the incubator. You do not want it to go much lower than 25%. The humidity is usually at least 60% in the house.
Best to test run your incubator for a few days and monitor the humidity to see what you get. Make sure to have independent hygrometers as well.
I add water when I see the first internal pip or at DAY 19, whichever comes first. I usually stop turning at DAY 17.
