I'm really pleased with how Lil Boy Blue has turned out.. He's even got some red leakage in the neck feathers from his pop, my Calico Splash roo.

How old is little blue? I rescued a blue/ black silkie 2 wks ago. They told me he/ she was 4wks old. The conditions were terrible. Call her Stevie.
He's just turned 12 weeks old. Yes, I've gotten a few that weren't in such great shape at the same age, but proper nutrition and housing makes a lot of difference. Brings out the best they can be. Good luck with your baby.
Here are a couple pics of his dad and older sisters. (BTW: he's the ONLY blue male I've gotten, all the rest were splashes). His older sisters are now in with another splash roo.

@CSolis that Dad is just stunning!!! How old is he?
He's about a year and a half old.. Was just getting his hormones on when I got him. He and lil Ms Poof Poof keep knocking it out of the park for me. Here's Lil Boy Blue's hatch mate (sister) and her hubby from my partridge silkie, an F2
