This light blue is from Cheyenne and LBB..View attachment 3446926
And the black and Buff are from the Golden Girls and the Lieutenant. View attachment 3446928View attachment 3446929 The buff looks like it's going to be exactly like an older sibling now 8 weeks old.View attachment 3446930

Now 7 weeks old these two are full siblings. The satin is a Calico, the other is buff and white! @Hinotori , what would you breed the buff and white too (color wise)? View attachment 3440760View attachment 3440762
I have a feeling they both might be males (darnit!)
Hmm... i see the slight pink comb on the first one, but it looks more female to me 🤔

Second one looks very male based on stance...

i think theres some hope!!

Believe it or not, the first one is from an F1 cross (Bantam Buff Orpington x Partridge silkie rooster) and a Splash silkie rooster.. so she's an F2. This is mom.. note the pattern in the gold feathers too.

I believe her aunt (full sister to her mother, but sold last year) produced the second. Auntie is in the foreground in this pic.

Double jinxed myself. Spraddle legged chick in this hatch too. It's in hobbles. Should be find soon enough.

The lighter chick is mostly probably from a blue cream hen. The rooster in there is partridge. So chick should be halfway to partridge and split for lavender. All of the partridge chicks are split for lavender.

Im trying to replace some of my ageing hens. Next year I'll get ones with 2 copies of lavender. I'll keep one cockerel from this hatch.
