Silly swimming chickens...I mean "ducks"....I mean chickens!!

can't get enough chicken :

I have fairly calm ocean water in my backyard. Could they swim?

I would imagine if the water were calm, they could swim. I would hesitate to let your guard down however. If a chicken does not know what to do in water, they will sometimes panic. We taught our chickens to swim with lots of supervision. The are very comfortable in the water now.​

you have a backyard ocean-how cool is that.don't know if your chickens can swim,,,but i can.
