Silver Appleyard versus Snowy?

I have seen advertisments for Mini Silver Appleyards and I wanted to whats the difference between them and Snowy Call Ducks. I think they look very similar but is there an actual difference or just the name?

Call ducks are a breed of duck, and the mini appleyards are a seperate breed of duck. They just have similar coloring.

So what would happen if you breed them? Would u get calls or minis? Are they different sizes?

First of mini Silver appleyards and snowy calls , have the same pattern thus is why they seem the same. I have heard that some people that breed mini "appleyards" wich shold be called silver bantams (corretck me if i am worng) have had a hard time with the snow/silver paterren.

Thanks for the info! Mrs.Turbo do you have any snowy calls for sale. Also do you have a pic of the appleyard pattern and the snowy pattern so I can see the difference

The Mini Silver Appleyard and the Australian Spotted are the two that look very close.
Snowy Call body type is different than a Mini Silver Appleyard and the Australian Spotted. To me the Snowy Call's color looks like a bad "AppleYard Color".

I'd say the most obvious different is the shapes of their heads, bills...
