....yours looks like big mama exactly!! my "roo" -- pablo is the smallest
beak sanctuary...im sure theyre cochin bantams but lets see those pics anyways

Yeah, they definitely look like silver laced cochins to me! It was just that Big Mama and Pablo both look like roos to me.
It was kind of hard to tell from the picture, but female SL cochins have more of the lacing pattern, and boys have more of the blended look. The boys will also have longer pointed saddle feathers.

Try looking on feathersite.com and go to the poultry page, they have quite a few pics of boys and girls.

i dont know if this is throwing you off or not, but the pullet with the more lacing is a little younger than the other two.....why she is lighter pink and has hardly any comb at all.......but now youve get me reeeeaaallllyy wondering!

Relax, darling. You definitely have a roo and two hens. Some hens have larger combs and others (which are more desirable) have smaller ones like your little cutie. The main difference between a pullet and a cockerel at this point is comb color (roos will redden) and green tail feathers. The females will have bigger poofier tails and the roos will look more lanky, and have the GREEN tail feathers. You pullets have NO GREEN....This is the obvious way to tell the difference. Your girl with the big comb is a little more manly

but is no man.

edited to say: now if some green tail feathers pop up, I'll just delete my post and you'll never have any proof that I said that

anywho
, no big deal either way...but im starting to see what they mean...but isnt the pullet with the smaller, lighter comb a little younger? would explain their confusion....i dunno, but im gonna go out and look for little green feathers on pablo today....and ignore any that might show up on big mama lol.....

I don't know where you're getting that they're different ages. They were all hatched out the same day. And I saw green feathers on Pablo the day I got him two weeks before you got them and none on either pullet so Im 99.99999999999999% sure
