Purchased from My Pet Chicken as a day old pullet. Looks like a rooster to me, but I am fairly new to chickens and have no other wyandottes to compare him to (that is a Welsummer pullet with him in the background). Your thoughts?

Looks like a rooster. But then again, I had a pullet that looked like that!

Looks like a roo. Had the same situation happen to me. Bought my SLW from "My Pet Chicken", too. If you requested a female and got a male, they guarantee the sex and will refund your money if it's not too long a time. Mine started crowing at 17 weeks, so knew for sure then. Good luck!

Rooster. Females won't get those white blotches on the wings. It also has a large comb and wattles for its age.

Thank you everyone for your opinions. My Pet Chicken's policy is that you have to reach out to them from 10-17 weeks of age if you feel you got the wrong gender, so I have reached out to them. Really appreciate your feedback!
