That isn't even close to a red comb! You almost certainly have a pullet. The sexing is about 90% accurate. Plus, there is no sign of the male white wing patches and the comb has no development. I was looking at her comb, because I ordered a hen, but it’s growing very quickly, and it has a very red comb. It also has just one spike when I read they are supposed to have a rose comb-I’m a beginner at raising chickens, but is it possible she’s a he?
