The little one is so cute!

Thanks. I like my bigger one better. Both work well though.

OH and I built a broody house with my extras from the smaller coop.

Not a great pic but you can see it......sort of.


I think it came out 3'x 4' and 30" tall. Good enough for a broody cochin and a few chicks.

Ok Dad, now that I have had a refresher of your coop you have some work to do on mine! Lol

Well I still have them together, I lost some chickens last fall due to all the rain and respitory illness, however, I have not lost any quail or chickens from them being in the coop together other than the occasional quail who escapes when I dont lock the door and the chickens get to them before I notice.

I wanted simplicity, and only 2 small bantoms chickens. This is what I went for. Made out of pallets. They will have my backyard as a run.

The ladies are in an incubator at the moment. So hard to wait.
