I won't go near a TSC during chick days. I have a gift card too guess it will be May before I can use it.
When I first started with Ducks in 2004 Muscovy and you sure don't have to worry about hatching ducklings they are more than willing an able to help. But I found BYC in 009 and saw more breeds of ducks that I had never seen in my life. But after being on here and reading stories like yours about losing in the mail, I swore I'd never order. Then in 2017 I fell for the Salmon Faverolle chicken and only way I could get any was Hatchery Thankfully they came with out any problems and have been healthy. Then in 2019 I wanted to add some Fawn an white Runners to my flock Ordered 3 they sent 4 They were mailed out one day here the next so we figured they came air. Oh my gosh they looked so healthy from Thursday till the weekend when I lost 2, and would have lost the other 2 if I hadn't started feeding them scrambled egg. I have no doubt that and prayer saved them. I contacted the hatchery and they said it was shipping stress. I will never use mail to get any poultry again.
