single symptom: trouble breathing

Hi, everyone,

I've been going through previous discussions about respiratory problems, and all I've seen discuss multiple symptoms. My sick hen has only one symptom that I can tell (other than being slightly lethargic, tho she has no trouble running when it's Chickie Treat Time). She seems to be breathing in through her nose and out through her mouth, odd as that seems to me. I hear a slight wheeze, but I can't hear anything in her chest (last year, we had some pneumonia, and I could hear that in their chests).

She IS a bit lethargic, but I know they always are when they feel bad.

Actually, her belly feels tight to me, too, but I can't feel any lumps or anything, and when I put my finger up her vent, I can't feel any obstructions -- but it is tight in there.

We are in the midst of the longest cold (for us -- lows in the high 20's), wet spell of the year, which was when the pneumonia struck last year.

Any help is appreciated!

Thank you!
