Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

Quote:
Its finally getting cool at night here.... down to about 56 or so.... Indian summer still peeks in now and then with a 90 ish day then the next day will be in the seventies. We had a Santa Ana the past week that blast dried everything.... Its a wind that blows off the desert out to the ocean.... Brings the temps up blows semi trucks over on the freeway and drops the humidity down to around 15 percent give or take.

So needless to say even though it has cooled off we are under red flag for fire in the hills. we need rain or precipitation of any kind.

Probably, but the Cherry Cheesecake is gone.
I wish you had invited me, or sent some here; I would have

...helped. (muffled with mouth full of cherry cheesecake).

@chickisoup , My weather report is long pants, boots, and not going outside without my arms covered.

The time difference wobbles my warp drive. I am trying to figure out dinner.
coffee was....hours ago for me.
I usually have an espresso in the evenings. I try to finish it before 6:00pm Pacific time. It is 11:00am now and I am thinking about lunch!

25 degrees and snowing again here in Michigan. Coffee is hot and all the heated water buckets and trough are working! Hose was frozen though and I kind off need it to fill the trough in the pasture...

:bow

Stay warm and safe up there!!!
Same to everyone else dealing with this mess. Our cold weather is still trying to get here. I think it gets here tonight and in the morning but it isn't as bad as what you all are dealing with

we would connect the hose to the upstairs bathroom sink...run it out the window, and all the way to the barn.

Needed to make sure the hose was totally empty, and the water was scalding before you started. It was a long way to the barn, three hose lengths, almost 200 feet.

The hose would be coiled up after use and stored in the shower stall.

Morning all!

Well, weathered another record breaking snowstorm and all's well here on the frozen tundra (Green Bay Packers pun intended)

Are you an NFL fan?

I remember Bob Lilly trying to dig a hole in the frozen tundra, sad but a Cowboy win did not happen that day.

Bart Starr and company won in the final seconds.

@TeaChick My experience with an espresso machine was that I didn't use it after the novelty wore off, too much work. But I bought a Nespresso machine a year and a half ago, and that one I use every day, it's super convenient. The coffee is a bit expensive, but tastes good. I gave away my regular coffee machine a few months ago because I hadn't used it in over a year. My machine makes both cappuccino and espresso, plus tall versions of both. And with real milk, not any powdered stuff.
