LoL.... this one little coffee shop I go to was started out of an old photobooth by a woman namde Rosa.... They had these booths all over San Diego you drop off your film got a recipt and you could pick your photos up in abaout a week. When technology changed it sat empty for quite a few years till Rosa bought it.
She turned it in to a double sided espresso shop. It was there I got my first Americano.... thats before Starbucks took over town... She suvive starbucks because of her loyal customer base and because she hired Very pretty 20 something girls to run the place... any way Rosa LOVED dogs and always kept dog biscuits in a Biscotti Bin and when a dog owner woudl drive up Rosa would ask permission to give the doggie a biscuit....
One day I had my Rosie dog with me.... Rosie woudl always raise up and start working that sniffer when we pulled up... And I asked for a Doggie Biscotti for my dog.... Rosa just about fell over with laughter. From then on she called them Doggie Biscottis. Funny thing was Rosie would politely take it from Rosa but set it down on the seat for "later".
Oh and for what its worth.... If you go through Der Wienersnitzel and ask for a "Canine" they will cook up a hot dog and wrap it like a tootsy roll and pop it in your bag.... No charge. There used to be a place called Picknickn Chicken that would do something similar for doggies.... they would strip the meat off a cold chicken leg and put it in a french fry bag.... "for later" no charge. Even In and out Burgers will fry up a hamburger without salt and put it in a container for dogs. they charge a minimum charge for the burger... but thats ok.
