Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

I just realized I had the fingers of my left hand in my tea. I am not sure if I had petted a dog or not.
The cold willl get me one way or another.

See, Tea does odd things to a person.

Stick with coffee!

Morning Chickadoodles!!!
wow! what a horrible hospital bill! They are just getting nuts. Up here they do keep the bills down a bit tho because folks just can't pay if they jack them up anyway and you can haggle with them.
I've been having trouble with falls for a while that I now know are caused by the increase in the neuropathy, but nothing broken. In fact, the fall last spring which turned out not to be serious, just a beat up arm, was my first trip to the emergency room in memory. Wouldn't you know it tho, the broken ankle had nothing to do with any of it? It was my own fault for just not paying attention. I NEVER go down the porch steps without grabbing the railing but this morning, I decided it was ok because the rubber pan with handles was too stiff from the cold to fold up enough so I could carry it with one hand. DUH

It had rained and then turned cold the night before, so the stiff pan should have clued me in there might be ice on the steps! stupid stupid stupid. It was September!!! We don't have ice in September

The final irony? My dr had just informed less than 2 weeks earlier that it was time for me to start using a cane before I take a serious fall.
Me? A cane? I'm not even old enough for social security yet!

Good evening Chickisoup, It was a horrible bill. But it would not have been that bad if they had not tried to kill me off and then kept me on life support.
They used up all my Ins. money and then the Ins. Co. sent me home.

I have a cane and I am not old enough for Social Security but I need to use it at times. And I guess I don't use it enough. lol
Ice in Sept! That is not good... Sorry.

I actually have lots of walking sticks, I've been carving them for years. I still have several sticks of cherry wood drying in my woodshed. Another irony. Good thing I started collecting saplings with the rootball for making canes. At least I will have plenty to keep me busy sitting on the porch in the spring.
