10 came and went--I went to the coffee shop on Campus and picked up a coffee and just got back. It is now 11am.

I was too busy at 10.

I checked out your pictures and they are wonderful! Your birds are beautiful and look like they live in a chicken vacation resort!

Emu, Parrot, Splendid Fairy wren...  so many beautiful birds here it's hard to choose. Not my native homeland but my home now. My chookies are spoiled but we inhered the hen house and we really wnat to build a new one but until finances are right we have to stick with what we have.

My very favorite bird is the Australorp! I have several ladies but only a young Aussie roo right now (bought what I was told were two nine week old pullets but turned out to be two beautiful roos. My neighbor now has his brother. She got two birds as well but wouldn't you know she got the two girls???) Anyway, my intent is to locate ANOTHER heritage Aussie breeder with quality birds (not an easy task here in the states) to get my guy some girls. My goal being to eventually have all Aussies, maybe even some blues and splashes.

Crispy morning! Got my chores done early to beat the coming snow and check things to make sure there's nothing that will get buried where the snow plower (aka hubby) will hit it.

My new French press should arrive by fedex today! e
