Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

Wow....... Super silly snowflakes.

I don't think it even snowed a full inch.

I was thinking that with it having snowed all night, that there would at least be drifts in some spots.

No drifts either.

Odd.

Maybe these are pretend flakes.

Maybe poor Alaskan is hallucinating snow flakes.

Maybe I am a frosty flake

wouldn't want you to feel left out. How about we send you a couple inches of ours??? we have plenty to spare!

So today we were on our way to Annapolis, Md to visit son and his family. Newly purchased Dunkin Donuts coffee in hand , I say to the Princess, " Look at the snow geese and Canada geese flocks in that field. They are separated by species." She asks, "what are 'scoties'?" I reply they are the white ones and look at her quizzically ." I then ask her, "What did you call them?" She says, "Scoties'. We both figure out at the same time that our hearing difficulties have messed up our communications once again, and laugh hysterically for the next while. She finally goes, "I though you were talking about a new species."

What a MESS are these two oldy but goldies.

It was so hot yesterday, Everyone was miserable but refused to put on the air. The temperature is dropping now. My husband said we need to hope it does not spawn any tornadoes.

What this weather system needs is a mom. She'd straighten it out!

After being without power for a week in 2011, and for 10 days after Sandy last year we decided to bite the bullet and install a unit that can handle our small home. Had the unit and a 500 gallon propane tank installed, and I no longer worry about power outages. It's something that we should have done long ago.
