Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

negative 68?
wow.
you are tough.
Naw! I know what you meant!

Yep....I always put the "-" in front of an incomplete sentence.

can you imagine -68 in Texas? Everyone and everything would have died.

We are at 22 up here. Perfect temp, warm, but not so warm as to make ice.

Of course, since it is so warm, the entire South horizon is covered in snow clouds.

I drank a bunch of lovely coffee this morning. Such a lovely lazy Saturday!

I could handle 22. That would be OK. I really prefer 25 though. Just cold enough when working or playing outdoors in the winter to keep you from getting overheated, but not too cold that you get chilled. Of course with little to no wind is best.

It's hot here.

It is so humid I think it might start raining in the house.
I want people to pack it in and move south to help pull us out of this dead economy, but no one in their right mind would want to move to mold city.
The mold is growing algae.
Really.

Five days ago it was 23, now it is in the mid 70's It feels like 80's- the air just kicked on so the hose must be at least 84.
This is madness. MADNESS- and there is a gang war going on in my sinuses...

I am such a whiner.
sorry.

what do you do to keep all that mold away. here in pr its the same except it keeps growing all over the ceiling because of all the rain. right now my kitchen looks like a purple and blue tie die from the bleach.

Hi all

wow get busy for a day or so and takes me an hour to get caught up!!! So sorry to hear of all the ice and flooding

feel guilty saying we've actually caught a break and had just a couple inches of snow and temps in the 20's. Might even see some of that big yellow ball up in the sky tomorrow!

things should thaw enough so I may actually be able to do a good cleanout in the coop and greenhouse.

Ron - glad you caught your heat problem in time.

For whomever it was that said they didn't like having to check if the ceramic heaters were on, one fix is like what I use to know if the power is on in the coop. Walmart has these 6" (yep that's inch) extension cords for using with all those power packs that won't fit into your surge supressor, etc. Anyway, they have a diode or whatever in them that lights up to let you know there is power. These things are handy for all sorts of applications and come in very inexpensive 3 packs. Just in silly colors.

WORKING? PLAYING? OVERHEATED?!

huh.
I am so not northern material.

Mold. *sigh*

I am waiting for May.
May is our drought month followed by June and some of July...

I really am not doing much to entice you down am I?

I use bleach when it is bad, but prefer hydrogen peroxide. It is easier on my lungs.
