Yes I think you are referring to mud coffee which is made normally when camping. Turkish greek coffee is made from the finest coffee grain available ( back in the day people use to spend days grinding it to make it fine as possible) and has a very unique taste and texture. It has an almost syrupy texture and is very smooth. What makes its distinct is it has a natrual foam on top ( without adding any cream or milk) which is formed towards the end of the brewing which you cant see in the picture.
