Another "world gone crazy" morning in the civilized part of the country.
So glad the DH and I are up here hiding out in the wilds of the northwoods with our chickens and a large emergency stash of Folgers. But there is the old hermit that lives on the other side of the river

We do have our own version of "terrorist" neighbors. Found out where all our deer apples were disappearing to.


Ignore the dating. DH never resets it when he changes the battery.
This was taken yesterday. Looks like he's waiting for the waitress
to bring his napkin.

Nice neighbor @chickisoup . I think I'd almost feel better about a bear stealing my apples than a human. One of my neighbors has an orange tree in her front yard. She went to work one day & came back to find it picked clean. Besides making her mad, it creeped her out to think that someone was watching her or knew when she'd be gone.

Yep. Much more comfortable with 4 legged "neighbors" than the 2 legged kind.
