Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

Quote: Hey! Yes, the website did go down for about twenty minutes. Things are good, but really cold. The pond is frozen and my chickens and me are freezing. How about you?
Same here, pond frozen, me too, but the chicks have heat lamp on! Or 2 depending on temps, whether - or not, Have plenty of snow to share with our friends in drought areas! We could add some coffee beans to it to make it better!

I AM SO HAPPY IT'S FEBRUARY! At 10 am the sun is high in the sky instead of hiding behind the southern treetops

Still around zero for outside temp but almost 40o in the greenhouse. I have some very happy chooks!
Just sitting at my kitchen table staring at the snow but soaking in the sunshine and dreaming of spring.

Oh crap, my computer just popped up a weather alert message. I hate reality. That's what it's there for.

A week ago we put our mini poodle to sleep, one week before his 19th birthday. He was deaf, about 90% blind, could barely walk/stand, and was losing weight because it was so difficult for him to eat, had to be taken out once or twice a night. The main thing was, though, that I wanted to end his pain.

I know it is hard work. But you get baby goats...and milk. I think I lost the point of the dairy goat somewhere in there.
