So sorry easterners! This is a real pain in the ...neck. I think it's been at least 6 months! I don't have a horse. Yeah that's illegal too except by permit for parades. Anyway it's 22 miles there 22 miles back in the dark with 30-40 mph winds most of the day and night tonight overnight low now expected at -4.

Until this past week end I hadn't trained dogs in almost 2 months - unheard of for me. Snow was too deep, and crust would have cut their paws. Just started working them again, and they and I are out of shape. Sitting in front of this computer does little good for my muscle tone. Snow is 40 % gone, but with the predicted low temps everything will freeze and become slippery. I just don't bounce well anymore.

I wish I could push some of this north.
I still am expecting one more freeze so I have my garden in pots in the greenhouses.

Thanks y'all! I know I'm a wimp when it comes to the weather but I was born in FL. Maybe that explains part of it.

Well I was only there til I was three weeks old but I tell everyone there's a stamp on me somewhere that says "do not take this body out of state". Lol yet here I am in VA.
