Ooooo a thred for coffee lovers I'm definantly gettin in on this one. My hawaiin friend just today imported me some kona coffee choclate macadamia mmmm. I love me some cowboy mud but onnnnce in awhile I like the tasty stuff as well. Great to be here y'all.

@chickisoup @chickwhispers Thank you! The new slw babies are so sweet and calm-so unlike my skittish brahmas. I'm hoping they will get along when they get older. I'd like to put these 2 breeds together.

poll- I think that horses do fine with chickens and vice versa.

ireland- Welcome! I think there is plenty of room for all sorts of coffee and coffee drinkers!

GA- I didn't realize bramas were skittish...never had them. but since they were so big I thought they'd be more laid back or something. interesting.



I awoke to a lovely day. we are going to do lots of outdoor stuff before the weather changes and we get snow tomorrow. have two broody Mommas with new chicks, going to build raised beds for a new section of garden...life is grand!!!! (but need coffee first!)

My horse did fine with chickens. Though occasionally he would roll one with his nose.

Question for the coffee lovers - can I keep chickens with horses?my plan was to free range them both in the pasture during the day and lock them up at night - any ideas?

It should work fine. Feed the chickens near the coop and they will come home in the evenings.
