I really needed that coffee this morning. Yesterday evening I dug out a run and cleaned and treated one of my hutch\run breeding pens. My UofA blues should be coming back this week.

After a long day, it was quite a bit of work with temps in the 80s still. I was very tired and somewhat sore.

Coffee has turned that around!

I may need another cup at lunch time though.....

Hey, Mitch, shouldn't say this for it will probably jinx me, but my back has been fine for quite a while.

East bed cleared, South bed 50 % done. Went to a local nursery and picked up three Phlox plants for the S bed - pretty and reasonably priced.

I have a precious, gentle, kind loving aunt who once gave this description of herself, "I'm just not nice till I get my morning coffee."
She spoke that little phrase in her kind gentle voice...but I knew EXACTLY how she felt! lol

We have cool temps today! What a fabulous day!! Only going to get to the middle 80's!! Good night!! Feels like fall!!!

I doubt that I would ever be described as 'precious', but I do TRY to be gentle, kind and loving. Today I had blood drawn for next week's physical - fasting meant no coffee prior to my appointment. Then the receptionist (a new lady) decides to cop a bad attitude with me.

Big mistake. The girl who drew the blood was like, "Wow you straightened her up. She's been in a really bad mood all morning." I'm old enough and smart enough to know that I was not her problem and did not hesitate to explain that to her. I'll be excited to get to that point. I hate unfavorable personal interactions. Me too!!! =)

Now all is good.

Admit it! Any frost at all would put you into shock!


Just like my poor youngest boy, it must have hit 65 yesterday, and he was perpetually drinking water and lifting up his shirt to try to cool off.

That's what my mom used to say, "Everything in moderation." I think she was quoting someone (not her mom, some philosopher, maybe an ancient one even).

I am quite sure that when my mother passes and they autopsy her, coffee will flw from her veins instead of blood. She drinks it 24/7. I am not quite to that point yet.

My mom's like that! She drinks it all times of the day and night, and then sleeps, and then starts all over again. IDK how she does it.
