Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

My favorite part of the weekend, sitting on the front porch early in the morning, coffee in hand watching my chickens. We do this even in the dead of winter (in northern Illinois), bringing blankets with us to keep warm.

Il to do that, except from the comfort of my kitchen! Where I can get a fresh cup of coffee ( and have breakfast) on those crispier mornings!

Just tried the Starbuck's instant pimpkin spice coffee. Not bad, for instant. It's more cinnamon than pumpkin, though...

Same here for the frost! Last weekend, my husband mentioned we were due for frost later in the week. He reminded me that I should move all my flowering pots onto the porch before that happens. So, I thought, might as well get it done now (which was Sunday), we got our 1st frost Monday morning.
