Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

Do you buy the coffee already flavored or do you add the peppermint. Last winter I was on a kick of brewing my regular coffee and adding Penzy's hot chocolate mix in. It as really good.
DW always gets the Peppermint Mocha, Pumpkin spice, and Ginger Bread creamers.... I always go for Vanilla Caramel and for an extra treat once in a while I will sprinkle cinnamon in the filter and brew it strong...

To each his own. I will always go for a hot cup of black coffee. I have enjoyed hazelnut coffee but I like it black. With breakfast I will add cream and sugar occasionally if I have a good plate of fresh eggs with smoked sausage and of course grits.

I will have to visit on Grits mornings... I will drink really good coffee with a press, when I feel snooty and have some of those stale bread thingys dipped in chocolate..

Morning fellow coffee lovers :caf

Chugging copious amounts of the black stuff this morning in preparation for a trip to the big (7000) city. Not thrilled to go anywhere near population this close to the opening of deer hunting season, but we got the call yesterday we will stacking in sons, grandsons, etc. Like cordwood in a few days so the provisions must be replenished. Hoping to be back home before the next storm front rolls thru.

Had a fun evening. Actually got warm enough for a rainstorm last night! That was fun till the air suddenly filled with so much electricity the tv screen turned bright pink, the sky lit up and BOOM! Scratch one old growth white pine just north of the house .

Thought we had made it thru a year, finally, without losing a tree (or more), sigh. :th

Oh well, hi ho it's off to town I go (whoopee) at least I can get a good cappuccino :D

Oh yeah, next storm coming? Snow of course. Makes tracking easier anyway.

Good Morning, I am just finishing a second cup and thinking about going out to turn the chickens out to graze and check the eggs. We too will have a full house, camper and more for Thanksgiving. Betti has her dressing made and ready to bake and we will gather some turnip greens today. Turnips are a must for Thanksgiving here at the Cotton Patch.

-mornin' to all. -two cups down the hatch, and pumpkin pancakes, warm maple syrup, and sausage consumed by the family. -'twas a good early mornin' for sittin' on the back porch with the hubby and listening to the bird's songs and bubblin' fountain. -'bout to traverse to church then get to the garden work. -plantin' all the potted mums into the ground, cuttin' back some perennials for the winter, and unfortunately crankin' out the AC. -mid 80s this afternoon. -not a fan of it this time of year...... -no afternoon coffee. -too hot.
