Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

Chicki, is there something about Australorps that makes them produce more roosters than hens? I bought 3 and ended up with 2 roosters and 1 hen. They are beautiful chickens though one rooster appears to have some Black Copper Marans in him. I do like the Australorps. Though I really like all of my chickens. The Red Stars are the friendliest and the sweetest. One of the Red Stars reminds me of my grandchildren. She makes herself at home and climbs up in my lap to help herself when I sit down to feed the chickens.

At least around here if it snows it will disappear on its on. The largest snow ever, 18 inches in 1973 fell Friday afternoon and it was gone in time for us to go to work Monday morning.

:celebrate. It's National Esspresso Day!!!!!
6:15 am, a crispy 8o and all deer hunters fed biscuits and bacon and fresh squeezed eggs and out the door!!! Now it's just me and puppy and a fresh cuppa, sigh. Now a little bit of r&r before I get the turkey stuffed and in the oven.

Suddenly need more coffee :th

Good chilly mornin' everybody! -cup in hand with steaming hot coffee, waiting for the sun to peek over the horizon.

Chickisoup, I hope that your deer hunters have a very productive hunt! -and, enjoy your coffee and moments of R&R!! -a blessed day to ya!

Enjoying a Saturday morning with my second cup of coffee. It is cool and rainy here in Georgia. I think I would have mixed emotions about the deer hunt. Some venison sounds good but dressing the deer is messy work.

Venison is good - reducing the population is great.

Warm again today, 29F, and that is bad.

I already got some snow, and there are snow clouds out there.

As previously mentioned, Alaskan is not ready for the season of plowing.

My coffee cup is not succeeding in making me feel gung-ho. :/
