Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

It is hard for me to imagine that donut flavored coffee tastes like anything other than shampoo.

But chickisoup, I am with you on the leaves. All these people keep talking about leaves, so odd.

And spruce needles are NEVER soft, they can stab just as easily as the sharpest needle.

I have leaves, and I have pine needles (soft white pine). Leaves don't bother me, but the Princess finds them 'unsightly' -

. I mow, bag, and add them to the mulch pile. I am so domesticated that I may have to give up my 'man card'. The pine needles I rake and use in my pigeon lofts. They really like pine needles to make their nests.

Alaskan,
Leave the duck coop. it all part of the story.
I can not imagine that kind of cold, or snow... I am in awe that you can do all of that.

We painted our coop first thing. In Florida if it isn't pressure treated and painted, it is temporary. We have rot and termites and all of nature wanting to return that' used to be tree' back into the earth.
At least you don't have nematodes and termites. I was interested in- um, I think they were called cord wood structures. I emailed the guy and asked how he keep them from being leveled by termites and he did not know what they were.
Every upside has a downside.
