-afternoon cup down, and about to take a walk/jog with my teenage daughter at the park trails. -too lovely out to stay indoors this afternoon. -chickens have foraged, dusted, and are roosting on a perch in the sunshine. Life is good.

Mine are in bed for the night now.
The three newbs are sleeping in their box and everyone else is getting into their favorite space on the roosts.

We are on the second pot. That rarely happens around here. I got up early enough to be coffee competition. The husband is a sweetie, but we really need his and her coffee pots.

Right now we are at our high of 33!

Temps will be dropping and we are getting another cold snap this week.

Highs expected 10-15, lows expected 4 to -4!

Yep me too. Our forecast for the next 2 weeks is about the same as this week, with maybe a day or two somewhat closer to normal. But after Groundhog Day, I don't want to see any groundhogs!

...we're at 73 degrees today.

-rest of the week will be more "January-like" (for Texas). -highs in the low 40s by Thursday. -think it'll be dipping to 19 on Thursday night. -time to cover some plants and herbs. -after I get the daughter to track practice this morning, I might do some work in the lawn and garden. -gonna be a nice one.
